Msvcr110.dll is known as dynamic link library file and msvcr110.dll is a part of Microsoft DirectX module. Most of these dll errors are also found in other types of dll files binkw32.dll and D3dx11_43.dll and MFC100.dll.

Msvcr110.dll errors commonly occur at system startup, application startup, or when trying to use a unique function in your application (eg. printer).

  • Register msvcr110.dll manually using Microsoft Register Server

Those softwares which uses msvcr110.dll file, during the time of installation in computer, they automatically register dll file, but in some cases dll fill may not properly register, as a result of which shows “msvcr110.dll not registered” error.

re-register msvcr110.dll file by using command prompt.

  1. Click on Start button.
  2. Type “cmd” in the search box.
  3. Type: regsvr32 /u msvcr110.dll.
  4. Click Enter. This will UN-REGISTER your file.
  5. Now type: regsvr32 /i msvcr110.dll.
  6. Click Enter. This will RE-REGISTER your file.
  7. Close the command prompt .
  8. Now re-start the program that produce msvcr110.dll error.
  • Repair invalid msvcr110.dll registry entry.

Sometimes msvcr110.dll error occurs due to the problem related to window registry.Many programs share same dll file and if one of the program is deleted or get changed then sometime it will delete dll file related to both the program that’s why it shows invalid registry entries.It means actual file path may have changed or incorrect formal file location is still recorded inside Windows registry.

To repair windows registry manually, create a backup of registry related to msvcr110.dll .

  1. Click on Start button.
  2. Type “cmd” in the search box.
  3. Type: regedit
  4. In Registry Editor, select the msvcr110.dll-related key
  5. Select Export, from File menu.
  6. Choose the folder from the Save In list where you want to save the Microsoft® Visual Studio® 11 Beta backup key
  7. type a name for your backup file, in the File Name box.
  8. Selected branch, from the Export Range box.
  9. Now click on save.
  10. This file will save with .reg file extension.
  • Restore the deleted msvcr110.dll from the Windows Recycle Bin.

Sometime msvcr110.dll file deleted when we uninstall a program that already uses this dll fill, in this case there will be chance the file may be stored in Recycle Bin, in such case we can collect msvcr110.dll file from Recycle Bin.

  1. Open Recycle Bin
  2. Click Control+F, now type msvcr110.dll and then click on enter to search.
  3. If file is available then select and copy it and then paste in:
  • C:\Windows\System in case you are using Windows 95/98/Me
  • C:\WINNT\System32 in case you are using Windows NT/2000
  • C:\Windows\System32 in case you are using Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8
  • If you use a 64-bit version of Windows, then paste d3dx9_43.dll also in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\
